Welcome to your second installment of the Satoshibles Newsletter! The team has been hard at work laying the groundwork for phase 2 over the past few weeks. We also have some really exciting news about monsters in this edition, so let’s dive in!
Phase 2 Update
A lot of Phase 2 hinges on two important areas, SatoshiCoin and SatoshiDAO. We want to set SatoshiCoin up properly and make sure decisions are being made as a community on how best to use it.
This is where SatoshiDAO comes in. We have been in contact with multiple groups in the Stacks ecosystem who will be launching DAOs and DAO tools. Each has their own cool set of features, we are in the process of ticking all the legal boxes for a DAO and deciding on which partner to use. We will let you know more soon, we may also just end up making our own DAO tooling, who knows!
We are still going through the process with ALEX in regards to the IDO for SatoshiCoin — finalizing the tokenomics and legal — we should be able to give you a more detailed update in the next newsletter.
Satoshibles IP Creation Contest
We recently announced an update to our IP agreement that gives all commercial IP rights to our holders. To celebrate this, we launched the IP Creation Contest to see what fun things our holders could come up with using their Satoshibles!
We had some fantastic entries that the team whittled down to 5 finalists. The community then voted on their favorite and the 3 winners are:

Prize: 500 STX + 1 Satoshible
2nd place 🏆 : Fex’s Skateboards
Prize: 1 Prime Monster Satoshible
3rd place 🏆 : Arot’s Ledger

Do you want some Alpha?
We have seen some great success recently in our Alpha Channel in Discord. This is a private channel for Satoshibles and Monster Satoshible holders only. Some recent alpha we dropped in there was @CBCreepz, @eightbit, @los_muertosNFT, and @PizzaBotNFT, to name but a few!

StacksBridge 2.0
The bridge has been fully operational for a few months now. Holders are able to bridge their Satoshibles back and forth between Ethereum and Stacks. It has got to the point now though that we have projects queuing up on both sides asking if they can also use the bridge. Version 2 of the bridge will allow us to onboard other projects.
We have already learned a lot from version 1 and are making good progress on version 2. One of the major changes we will be making is switching the escrow fee to the Stacks side. This means, holders will be able to bridge over to Stacks for ETH gas only and then pay the escrow fee in stx if they decide to bridge back, great news for you whales out there! Stay tuned for more updates on the bridge progress in the next newsletter.
The Monsters Are Coming
We have some really exciting news to share about Monster Satoshibles! They are coming to Stacks!
On Friday the 13th May, we will be stopping the mint on Ethereum and then minting the rest on Stacks! This means you have until then to make the last of the primes, there will be no more created after this!
Once the ETH mint ends, the Chosen One will be revealed! 💀
That’s right, Monster Satoshible #666666 will rise from the depths of the underworld!
It will be auctioned off and all of the proceeds will be split equally between the Branded monster holders! Currently there are 9 more branded ones to be minted. This could happen on ETH before the 13th May or they could also be minted on Stacks! If a Branded Monster is minted on Stacks, the owner will still be able to claim their share of the auction proceeds.
After our upgrade to StacksBridge 2.0, the monsters will attack the bridge! You will be able to bridge over any of your monsters to Stacks for ETH gas only. Once we give you enough time to bridge over, the mint, for the remaining monsters, will then go live on stacks.
There will be 2 tiers to the mint:
Tier 1 — MINT DOUBLE FOR FREE
Satoshibles Diamond holders and Monster Prime holders will be able to mint 2 free monsters per Diamond Satoshible / Prime they own on Stacks.
Tier 2 — MINT ONE FOR FREE
After tier 1, we will open up to holders of all monsters (that have bridged) and all other Satoshibles on Stacks (that havent been used in Tier 1), you will be able to mint 1 free for every Satoshible or Monster you hold.
Note: For each additional tier, the previous one does not stop.
